Amphirols

The use of this machine is to accelerate the drying of tailings. Where areas of the dam are too soft for conventional Earthmoving equipment to acess, the Amphirol has the ability to disturb the surface to start drying the mud.  

The method not only achieves final mud densities and reduced depostion cost but also allows for better control of the disposal operation.

The Amphirol screws itself through the mud on an average of 6 km per hour allowing large areas of recovery.  Up to 20,000 sqm per day of surface recovery.
